He completed B.A (Honors) in Islamic History & Culture in 1981 and Master of Arts in Islamic History & Culture in 1982 from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mohammad Solaiman started his professional life as a Lecturer in Alexander College on 1983. He join BCS General Education in 17 December 1987 and Assistant Professor in Chandpur Govt. College 2001 and Associate Professor in BhawalBodreAlam Govt. College, Gazipur 2005. As a professor He join Begum Rokeya Govt. College, Rangpur in 12 April, 2012 and join as a Principal Laxmipur Govt. College, Laxmipur in 12 August, 2012. He join as a OSD officer in Directorate of Secondary & Higher Education in 28 December 2016 and He retired on 31 December 2017. Mohammad Solaiman is a join Secretary BCS Retired Teachers Association of Bangladesh and Social Welfare Secretary of Jahurul Islam City Society, Aftabnagar, Dhaka. He also involved many socio-cultural organizations in 45 years.
