The third pillar of Islam, zakat is an obligatory claim on the wealth of the affluent to empower the indigent. Zakat welfare foundation (ZWF it is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization. Zakat welfare foundation (ZWF) channels this egalitarian spirit of zakat into a global vision of social development that transcends national boundaries, and stands as the foremost authority on interpreting zakat as a factor for positive change. Objectives

  • ZWF can direct the Zakat that they collect on behalf of the recipients to those who need it the most, whilst still following the rules and regulations set forth pertinent to Zakat collection and donation in Islam.
  • Make a perfect institution to enhance collection, distribution, and utilization of the fund.

  • Our possessions are purified when we give a proportion for those in need and this act of giving balances and encourages new growth in our economy.
