Selin Yasmin
SelinYasmin, a veteran educationalist, has served in the field of Education for the last 27 years. She accomplished her Honours and Master in English Literature from the University of Dhaka and also obtained a specialist degree in Education. She is the founder and principal of four schools and colleges at home and abroad. Currently, Ms. Selin is serving at a university. Ms. Selin went through various pieces of training like the “Leadership Development Summit” held in Malaysia, and “Teaching Methodology and Management” conducted by International Board for Educational Research and Resources, UK. She was specially trained and worked for curriculum development with the renowned educationalist, Sir Akram Khan Cheema, OBE (UK)- the Head Inspector of OFSTED for schools in the United Kingdom.SelinYasmin serves as a researcher, writer, and translator. She has written many academic and non-academic articles for different journals and presented conference papers. She wrote four textbooks on the English language. Ms. Selin was also involved in different National programs representing Bangladesh including representation as an active member of the reception committee of SAARC delegates, meeting Queen Elizabeth II and Pope John Paul II. As a dynamic Public Speaker, Selin Yasmin regularly participates in lecture sessions arranged by different organizations. She is regularly invited to various TV and Radio channels and attends various round table conferences on different contemporary and Islamic Issues. She is also involved in various social organizations.
